Little Ben | {Southern California Newborn Photographer}

I posted these a few weeks back on facebook, but not everyone facebooks (WHAT?), so I thought I would post them here for everyone to enjoy.  

This is Ben.  He is two days old in these images.  He was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).  OI is a condition where you have extremely brittle bones that fracture easily and frequently.  Ben was born with many fractures.  In addition to the fractures, babies born with OI can also have respiratory problems due to fractures in the rib cage.

When I first met Ben, the plan was to spend many months in the NICU.  But after almost a month, he got to come home this week.  YAY!
